REMEMBER

A return to yourself, each other, and the living Earth

Six nights in the Costa Rican jungle.

February 4–10, 2027 · confirmed

The place

Living inside the landscape

For seven days we'll make our home at The Nëst, a secluded sanctuary held within the Costa Rican jungle.

Here the boundary between retreat and landscape becomes a little less obvious. Tree villas rise among the green. Open-air spaces invite the forest in. Natural pools, jungle nets, sauna, cold plunge and an open-air shala become part of the rhythm of the day.

The jungle isn't scenery surrounding the experience. It's something we'll be living in relationship with.

A week to step outside the usual rhythms of life and into something slower, deeper, and more alive.

Some things can be understood from the outside. Others have to be entered.

Where we stay

The Nëst becomes our vessel

For one week, a small temporary world held within the jungle.

There will be places to gather and places to disappear. Tree villas for rest. An open-air shala for movement. Natural pools, sauna and cold plunge for the body. Jungle nets suspended among the trees simply to lie in and be.

Enough structure to hold us. Enough openness for the living world to enter.

Where you'll sleep

Eleven guest bedrooms, and no two the same.

Some have more privacy. Some have a bathroom of their own. Some have water at the door.

Choose the one that calls you — not the one you think you ought to take.

Six bedrooms

The lofts

Three two-storey lofts inside the main lodge, each with a king bedroom on both levels — thatch overhead and jungle through the glass.

The upper and lower bedrooms share one bathroom. If you take a loft on your own, you'll be sharing it with whoever has the other — which is why it's the least expensive way in.

Your own room $2,750  ·  Sharing $2,300

The suites

Also in the main lodge — a king bed, your own bathroom, and a plunge pool a few steps from where you wake.

The stone tub in one of them looks straight out into the trees.

Your own room $3,200  ·  Sharing $2,700

Roble casita, its deck and private pool
Three bedrooms, two buildings

The casitas

Separate houses among the trees, each with a private kitchen, plunge pool, and jungle net suspended over the hillside.

Roble has one bedroom. Ceiba has two, which suits a pair travelling together.

Your own room $3,500  ·  Sharing $2,950

Every rate includes six nights, all meals, transport from Cobano airport, and every session the three of us offer. Nothing about the teaching changes with the room.

A word about sharing, because it means two different things. In a casita, the queen splits into two singles — two people, two beds, one room. In a loft or suite there is one king, so sharing means sharing the bed. That rate is for couples, and for friends who ask for it. It is never something we assign.

Flights are arranged by each guest. Most people fly into San José or Liberia and take a twenty-minute connecting flight to Cobano, from about $120.

What we're bringing

Three women. Three distinct offerings. One shared week.

We aren't bringing one method and asking everyone to follow it.

We're bringing three bodies of work that each enter experience through a different doorway — and letting them live beside one another.

Movement. Exploration. Imagination. Conversation. Rest. Nature. Food. Laughter. Silence.

I — EMBODY

Pilates

Each morning

The day begins on the open-air deck with classical mat Pilates, adapted for the bodies actually in the room. Movement, breath, strength, attention. A way of arriving in the day by arriving first in the body.

II — EXPLORE

Workshops

Three afternoons

One enters the territory of self-expression, and what happens to everything we've learned not to say. Another returns to the stories we've inherited about ourselves, and asks what becomes possible when we begin writing from somewhere new. And one brings us into direct relationship with the living world through herbalism — learning about plants, working with them, and making something with our own hands to take home.

III — RETURN

Journeys into the Living Imagination

Three evenings

Enter the jungle within. Become tree, forest, creature, element — and listen for what returns with you.

After dinner, after the jungle has gone dark, we'll enter another kind of landscape. Immersive guided journeys through imagination, sensation, symbol and the living world — experiences meant not simply to be pictured, but inhabited.

We may become a tree and feel its roots beneath the earth. Follow water underground. Gather around a fire. Enter the forest and discover ourselves as part of something larger.

Living Alchemy moves quietly beneath these journeys as a way of meeting whatever arises. Not becoming someone new — remembering how to be in relationship with what is already here.

Who you'll be with

Three women, and what each of us carries.

No one of us is the sole teacher of this week. Each of us brings what she knows, and the retreat is what emerges among three distinct bodies of work, the people who gather, and the living landscape.

Pneuma

Pneuma

Imagination and the living world

Pneuma is a guide, teacher, and creator of Living Alchemy, an approach to transformation rooted in listening deeply to the intelligence of life itself.

Her work lives at the meeting place of consciousness, embodiment, the natural world, and the sacred. Drawing from more than two decades of intuitive, contemplative, and relational practice, alongside her work with BioGeometry, yoga, and living systems, she creates experiences that invite people out of striving and into deeper relationship — with themselves, with one another, and with the living Earth.

Leads three Journeys into the Living Imagination through the elements and the jungle landscape, and a sunset yoga practice on the sand.

How the week works

Everything is an invitation

The retreat is the container. Your experience remains your own.

The shape of a day

Held, not scheduled

There is a rhythm to the week, and a great deal of room inside it. We begin together with dinner and an opening gathering on the first evening. On the final night, we close with ceremony.

First light

Pilates on the deck

On five of the mornings. Movement before the day gathers around us.

Morning

Breakfast, then open space

Eat slowly. Swim. Read. Wander. Sleep. Talk to someone. Talk to nobody.

Afternoon

The workshop

On three afternoons, an invitation to explore together. The others remain open.

Late afternoon

Unstructured

Pool. Sauna. Cold plunge. Jungle. Hammock. Conversation. Solitude.

Evening

The table

Dinner together. Food, conversation, laughter, and whatever the day has turned up.

After dark

Journeys into the Living Imagination

On three evenings, those who wish to will lie down, close their eyes, and be guided on an inward journey through the elements, the jungle landscape, and the Living Imagination. You don't need to know where you're going before you begin.

One day

The coast

Once in the week we leave the trees and go down to the water at Santa Teresa — an afternoon with nothing asked of you. We end it with yoga on the sand as the sun goes down, and come back up into the jungle for dinner.

Closing night

Ceremony

On the final evening, we gather to close the week together.

A simple ritual to slow down, reflect, and mark the transition home. What shape it takes we'll decide closer to the time, and with you.

We make room for whatever the week has turned up — what moved, what changed, what we're carrying with us. Then we close the circle together.

What's included

What's held for you

Seven days · six nights

And something we consider equally important: unstructured time, defended.

Flights, travel insurance, spa treatments and personal expenses are not included.

Dates are confirmed. Pricing is being finalised and will be listed here. Guests arrange their own international and domestic flights. Short domestic flights to Cóbano are available from San José, and we will provide detailed arrival guidance before booking. Ground transfer between Cóbano Airport and The Nëst is included.

Who this is for

This is for you if you have spent a long time being the one who holds things — and can't easily remember the last time you were held.

If you've done the work. Years of it. And you don't need another introduction to yourself.

If you are tired in a way that sleep doesn't reach.

If something in you has gone quiet, and you'd like to find out whether it's gone or only waiting.

You don't need to arrive open. You don't need to arrive ready. You don't need to know what you're looking for — most people who come to something like this don't, and the not-knowing is usually the honest part.

And it isn't for everyone. If you want a week that keeps you busy, or one that will fix something specific, there are better retreats than this one. This one moves slowly. It asks very little of you and offers a great deal, and what happens depends more on what you bring than on what we do.

No prior experience of Pilates, yoga or meditation is needed, and no shared spiritual language. Open to all genders.

The invitation

Twelve to sixteen people

We're keeping this gathering small intentionally, because we want enough room for everyone to be known, and enough space for everyone to disappear when they need to.

$2,300 – $3,500

Depending on the room you choose. Six nights, all meals, transport from Cobano, and everything we offer.

$200 holds your place. It comes off your total, and payment plans are available for the rest.

Six nights in the Costa Rican jungle.

Three distinct bodies of work.
